Signature strategy · Tax-aware ownership & strategic capital

InGame helps clients evaluate businesses and real-estate-backed opportunities through both an investment and tax lens, coordinating qualified professionals to assess depreciation and cost-segregation opportunities while building a financing strategy designed around liquidity, risk and long-term ownership. Every opportunity is evaluated on its own economic merits and the client's individual tax circumstances.
  1. Map contract, salary, bonus, endorsement, royalty, appearance, touring and business income; estimated-tax obligations; liquidity needs; entity structure; existing passive income or losses; and planning constraints, before any opportunity is evaluated.

  2. Evaluate the operating business or real-estate-backed opportunity on cash flow, fundamentals, management quality, concentration, leverage, downside risk and exit options. Tax benefits never rescue a weak investment thesis.

  3. Coordinate your CPA, tax counsel and a qualified cost-segregation specialist to determine whether eligible components may receive accelerated depreciation, modeling basis, placed-in-service timing, passive-activity characterization and loss limitations before relying on any current-year deduction.

  4. Evaluate acquisition loans, commercial real-estate debt and lines of credit to balance liquidity preservation, interest cost, debt service, collateral, covenants and downside resilience. Financing is a capital-allocation tool, not a way to manufacture tax benefits.

  5. Track K-1s and entity reporting, distributions, debt service, estimated taxes, future refinancing, depreciation recapture and sale considerations, estate planning and portfolio concentration, so the strategy continues beyond the acquisition year.

The planning questions this scenario raises

  1. 01How is your contract income characterized across states and entities, and what estimated-tax obligations does it create this year?
  2. 02Does the business case, cash flow, management, concentration, downside, stand on its own before any tax consideration?
  3. 03Would a qualified cost-segregation study be relevant, and how would passive-activity and loss-limitation rules apply to your facts?
  4. 04What debt service, covenants and collateral would the financing require, and how does it affect liquidity resilience?
  5. 05Who needs to be at the table, CPA, tax counsel, cost-segregation specialist, lender, before any commitment?

Educational only. This scenario shows the questions and professionals a strategy involves, not a promised deduction, refund, loan amount or investment return. Eligibility, timing and usability of any tax benefit depend on your individual circumstances and applicable rules.

For qualified clients, InGame may also coordinate access to select private-company, pre-IPO, and SPV-based investment opportunities as part of a diversified long-term ownership strategy, subject to client circumstances and eligibility.
